A Middle Market investment bank is seeking an Associate to join its growing Energy Transition team, focused on solar, battery storage, and distributed generation. This is an opportunity to join a lean, entrepreneurial platform where you'll play a key role in transaction execution, work directly with senior leadership, and gain significant exposure to clients and deal processes from day one.
Key Responsibilities
- Support M&A and project finance transactions from origination through execution
- Build and maintain complex financial models, including tax credit and structured finance analyses
- Coordinate transaction processes and support client communications throughout engagements
- Advise developers, investors, and operators across solar, storage, and distributed energy sectors
- Prepare marketing materials, valuation analyses, and transaction-related presentations
Qualifications
- 3+ years of investment banking and/or project finance experience
- Advanced financial modeling and valuation capabilities
- Renewable energy, energy transition, or project finance experience strongly preferred
- Associate-level professional seeking increased responsibility and direct exposure to senior bankers and clients
- Strong communication, analytical, and project management skills
