Investment Banking Associate 1 - ECM
Our client is an elite boutique with a market‑leading Equity Capital Markets franchise who is seeking a strong Associate I to join their New York ECM team.

What You'll Do
- Support the execution of ECM transactions across IPOs, follow-ons, convertibles, block trades, and strategic equity solutions.
- Lead and manage day‑to‑day deal execution workstreams, including drafting materials, building and reviewing financial analyses, process coordination, and investor marketing preparation.
- Interface directly with clients, internal product partners, and external advisors in a dynamic, fast‑paced environment.
- Conduct market analyses, maintain comparable databases, and monitor equity markets to support transaction strategy and idea generation.
- Contribute to origination efforts with compelling materials and insights.
What They're Looking For
- Outstanding training and foundational experience from a top investment bank or elite boutique (1-3 years analyst experience + promotion to associate, or comparable).
- Strong technical skills, rigorous attention to detail, and exceptional judgment under pressure.
- A self‑starter mindset with a desire to step up, take ownership, and "charge" on deals in a lean team setting.
- Demonstrated interest in ECM and capital markets, with the ability to navigate short timelines and fast‑moving environments.
