Investment Analyst - Greater China Consumer / TMT (Hedge Fund)
Location: Hong Kong
- Conduct fundamental research on Greater China consumer and TMT companies, including industry mapping, competitive analysis, and financial modelling.
- Generate investment ideas and present well‑supported views to the CIO.
- Monitor existing portfolio positions and track market developments, regulatory trends, and sector catalysts.
- Build and maintain valuation models, scenario analyses, and investment memos.
- Collaborate closely with the portfolio manager to support position sizing, risk assessment, and ongoing thesis refinement.
- 4-7 years of relevant experience, with a strong preference for candidates from the buyside (hedge fund or long‑only) as an Investment Analyst covering Greater China consumer or TMT.
- Solid understanding of sector dynamics within China and familiarity with leading players, sub‑sectors, and structural themes.
- Strong analytical skills, financial modelling capability, and ability to form independent investment views.
- Humble, detail‑oriented, and able to work efficiently in a lean team structure.
- Fluency in English and Mandarin.
