FX, IR and Comms Sales - Dutch/Nordic - Frankfurt
A leading investment bank is seeking an FX, Interest Rates and Commodities Sales professional to cover Dutch and/or Nordic institutional clients from its Frankfurt platform. The role sits within Global Markets and focuses on providing tailored risk‑management, hedging and execution solutions across currencies, rates and commodities to a sophisticated institutional client base.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and develop relationships with Dutch and/or Nordic institutional clients, including asset managers, pension funds, insurers, banks and NBFIs.
- Market, price and execute FX, Interest Rate and Commodities products, including cash and derivatives, across spot, forwards, swaps, options and structured solutions.
- Provide market commentary, trade ideation and hedging strategies based on macroeconomic developments, client portfolio objectives and regulatory considerations.
- Work closely with trading, structuring, research and risk management teams to deliver tailored solutions and ensure optimal execution.
- Monitor client activity, risk utilization and profitability, ensuring adherence to internal risk, credit and compliance frameworks.
- Identify cross‑asset opportunities and proactively drive revenue growth and wallet share within the covered client base.
- Represent the franchise at client meetings, roadshows and industry events across the Netherlands and/or the Nordic region.
Required Experience & Skills
- Experience in FICC Sales, particularly across FX and/or Interest Rates; exposure to Commodities is a strong advantage.
- Proven experience covering institutional clients (asset managers, pension funds, insurers, banks or NBFIs).
- Strong understanding of derivatives pricing, hedging strategies and market dynamics across FX, IR and Commodities.
- Ability to operate in a fast‑paced, high‑pressure front‑office environment with strong commercial judgment.
- Excellent communication and relationship‑management skills with a client‑centric mindset.
- Fluency in English is required, and fluency in at least one Scandinavian language (Swedish, Danish, Norwegian or Finnish) or Dutch is mandatory.
