We are a growing systematic hedge fund running a long/short, market‑neutral equity strategy. The firm operates with a lean, high‑performing team and is actively scaling AUM alongside institutional partners.
The investment process combines quantitative models with fundamental oversight. The strategy is currently focused on the Financials sector, with plans to expand coverage into additional sectors over time.
The Role:
This role supports the investment team as the fundamental and data integrity layer within a systematic research process. You'll validate financial data used in live strategies, monitor earnings and company events, and help onboard new sector coverage as the platform grows. This is a research-focused role, not a portfolio management track.
Responsibilities:
- Review and validate financial data against company filings and disclosures
- Monitor earnings, corporate actions, and material news
- Support expansion into new sectors
- Identify and resolve data quality issues
- Improve internal research review processes
Qualifications:
- Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or similar
- Strong understanding of financial statements and disclosures
- High attention to detail; comfortable with large datasets
- Self-directed and curious; thrives in a small-team environment
- Prior research, data, or asset management experience preferred
- CFA progress and familiarity with financial data platforms a plus
