FP&A Lead
Currently representing a leading digital asset management firm - backed by the most accomplished investors in venture capital. They are seeking an FP&A Lead to drive financial planning, forecasting, and strategic analysis. This role offers the opportunity to partner with senior leadership, influence key business decisions, and shape the finances of a fast paced firm.
LOC- San Francisco, CA (Hybrid)
COMP- $150-250k base + equity
RESPONSIBILITIES-
- Build and maintain financial models to evaluate operational scenarios and product launches
- Budgeting, forecasting, long term financial planning (quarterly, annual, etc.)
- Strategic insights in regards to capital allocation and creating value
- Variance analysis and performance tracking
- Aid in monthly reporting packages
- KPI Dashboards
- Flashes
- Board reporting
- Streamline FP&A processes and automating processes where applicable (implementing systems)
- Collaborate with alternative business units in regards to budget
- Coordination with stakeholders across the business and articulating data to investors/senior leadership
QUALIFICATIONS-
- Prior experience within financial services, broker dealers, asset managers, etc.
- 6-12 years of experience in FP&A, investment banking or strategic finance
- Budgeting & forecasting expertise
- Ability to perform monthly closes and participate in reporting cycles
- Knowledge of general accounting principles and ability to analyze and plan around them
- Ability to develop financial models from scratch
- Proficiency in excel
- Proficient in financial systems such as NetSuite (preferred), and BI tools like Tableau or Mode, or Power BI; SQL a plus
- Bachelor's degree in related field
- Ability to articulate financial results and work in a fast paced environment
