FP&A Analyst
We are partnered with an energy firm that is looking to bring on an FP&A analyst to their finance team. The position will play a key role in contributing cross-functionally to the Finance, M&A, Development, and Strategy groups, and will report to the VP of Finance, and should have a proficiency in financial modelling, data analysis, and financial forecasting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain project and corporate level models for different teams
- Design investment and market materials
- Support the structure and execution of project level debt
- Coordinate and manage due diligence activities with stakeholders
- Assist with the creation and maintenance of internal budget
- Actively communicate and present market intelligence
- Evaluate M&A candidates
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business administration, project management, engineering or related
- Strong modeling abilities
- Experience with tax equity modeling
- 3+ year's experience in Finance, M&A (renewable preferred)
- Strong communication skills
- Strong presentation and analytical skills
Physical requirements
- Be able to sit/stand at a desk throughout the work day
- Able to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach with hands and arms, walk, lift, push/pull objects up to 20lbs
- Able to spend lengths of time online
- Effective time management
