Finance Manager (m/w/d)
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the full budgeting process and prepare monthly as well as quarterly forecasts for the production site.
- Lead monthly reporting activities and support the validation of annual financial statements in accordance with IFRS and local GAAP.
- Analyze and report monthly performance results against budget, forecast, and prior‑year figures.
- Conduct and ensure the quality of special financial studies and analytical assessments.
- Support and execute financial audits, and contribute to investment proposals and product evaluations with sound financial input.
- Maintain and continuously enhance internal controls, with a strong focus on ongoing improvement (KVP/continuous improvement).
- Take overall responsibility for internal controls (including internal audit/revision), statutory accounting, and all tax and VAT-related matters for the legal entity.
- Coordinate internal and external audits and act as the primary point of contact for auditors.
- Build, manage, and maintain strong relationships with the IMI Group Finance organization and serve as the interface to the sector headquarters.
- Lead the Controlling team and collaborate closely with the Shared Service Center responsible for accounting, including coordination with external tax advisors.
Skills & Competencies
- Degree in Business Administration with a specialization in Controlling/Finance or an equivalent qualification.
- A minimum of 10 years of relevant professional experience, including solid knowledge of IFRS, local GAAP, and tax and/or financial legislation.
- Strong understanding of back‑office finance processes and standard cost accounting.
- Experience in Controlling or FP&A within a multinational manufacturing environment.
- Extensive experience with commonly used ERP systems (e.g., JDE) and a strong understanding of underlying financial and operational processes.
- Native German language skills paired with good proficiency in English.
- Strong strategic mindset, high business acumen, and the ability to interpret financial data to support sound decision‑making.
- Excellent communication skills as well as a collaborative and team‑oriented working style.
