As the business continues to grow, they are looking for an AWS Architect to lead the design and evolution of their cloud environment, helping to build scalable, secure, and resilient platforms that support critical business operations.
This is an opportunity to play a key role in a cloud-first environment, working closely with engineering, security, infrastructure, and business teams to drive modernization and innovation across the organization.
What You'll Be Doing
- Define and drive the AWS cloud architecture strategy across the organization.
- Design secure, scalable, and highly available cloud solutions.
- Guide cloud transformation and modernization initiatives.
- Design and optimize AWS solutions using services such as EC2, S3, Lambda, and EKS.
- Select, size, and scale EC2 instances, container platforms (EKS), and event-driven solutions using AWS Lambda
- Collaborate with engineering and platform teams to establish AWS best practices.
- Ensure cloud environments meet security, compliance, and regulatory requirements.
- Support the adoption of Infrastructure as Code and automation practices.
- Provide technical leadership on cloud architecture decisions and major projects.
- Work with stakeholders across technology and the business to align cloud solutions with organisational goals.
- Contribute to cloud governance, architecture standards, and technology roadmaps.
What We're Looking For
- At least 4+ years of experience as a Cloud Architect, AWS Architect, Solutions Architect, or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of AWS services and cloud-native architectures.
- Experience designing solutions using AWS services such as EC2, S3, Lambda, and EKS.
- Experience designing enterprise-scale cloud environments.
- Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
- Experience with container technologies such as Kubernetes and Docker.
- Strong understanding of networking, security, and cloud governance principles.
- Experience working within regulated environments such as financial services, fintech, insurance, or banking is beneficial.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
