What You'll Be Doing
- Design, develop, and enhance execution algorithms and trading-related automation tools
- Collaborate with experienced engineers to build scalable, high-performance trading systems
- Contribute to architecture discussions, design reviews, and code reviews to maintain engineering excellence
- Continuously improve system performance, reliability, and scalability
- Work closely with traders, portfolio managers, and risk teams to understand business needs and deliver impactful solutions
What We're Looking For
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience developing electronic execution or trading algorithms
- 5+ years of professional Java development experience within financial systems or trading environments
- Strong knowledge of multithreaded programming, concurrency, and lock-free design patterns
- Experience building distributed systems at scale
- Understanding of risk management concepts within trading environments
- Familiarity with AI-powered development tools for planning, coding, and testing workflows
- Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate across technical and business teams
- Comfortable operating in a fast-moving, results-oriented environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with C#, C++, and/or modern web technologies such as React
- Exposure to low-latency system design and performance optimization techniques
