A nationally recognized leader in insurance and financial services is seeking a strategic and experienced Director of Insurance Regulatory Compliance to lead a high-performing team focused on product form and rate filings across Accident & Health (A&H) and Property & Casualty (P&C) lines. This organization supports a wide range of carriers and health plans across the U.S. and is known for its innovation and excellence in regulatory compliance.

This is a pivotal leadership role involving close collaboration with compliance, legal, and product teams, as well as direct engagement with regulators to drive impactful initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and develop a team of compliance professionals managing regulatory filings and compliance matters.
  • Oversee A&H and P&C product filings, advising on strategy and execution.
  • Collaborate with regulators to support favorable compliance outcomes.
  • Represent Compliance and Legal in cross-functional initiatives.
  • Monitor regulatory changes and coordinate implementation across teams.
  • Manage regulatory reporting, complaint handling, and Certificate of Authority renewals.
  • Stay current on industry trends and bring forward-thinking ideas to enhance compliance programs.

Qualifications:

  • Proven leadership in insurance regulatory compliance.
  • Strong background in carrier-side compliance functions.
  • A&H experience is required (e.g., major medical, supplemental, stop loss).
  • P&C experience is preferred (e.g., travel, E&O).
  • Proficiency with SERFF filing software and Microsoft Office 365.
  • Excellent communication and analytical skills.
