Data Center Engineer
Data Center & Infrastructure Operations
* Deploy and connect servers, network switches, and infrastructure hardware within colocation environments
* Coordinate with remote support teams to execute installations, troubleshooting, and hardware changes across distributed sites
* Oversee rack power utilization and space allocation, including ongoing capacity tracking and reporting
* Maintain organized cable layouts and enforce consistent cabling standards while managing inventory of copper and fiber assets
* Perform hardware maintenance tasks such as component swaps (drives, memory modules, optics) to support uptime requirements
* Support site expansions, relocations, and new infrastructure rollouts from planning through execution
* Manage logistics for equipment movement, including secure packaging, shipping coordination, and delivery validation across locations
* Keep detailed and accurate records of infrastructure layouts, changes, and operational procedures

* Operate within a high-performance, team-oriented environment focused on continuous improvement and operational excellence
* Collaborate with globally distributed teams on complex infrastructure challenges
* Work alongside experienced engineers in a fast-paced, technically driven organization
Technical Profile
* Familiar with core networking hardware components (optics, modules, chassis, interface cards)
* Understanding of server architecture, including memory, storage, and network interfaces
* Experience working with major network hardware vendors (e.g., Cisco, Arista, Juniper)
* Knowledge of structured cabling systems, including copper (Cat5/6) and fiber (single-mode and multi-mode)
* Hands-on experience using cable testing tools for both copper and fiber troubleshooting
* Exposure to cabling and power standards within data center environments
* Familiar with change management processes and operational controls
* Strong attention to detail with emphasis on documentation accuracy
