Cross Asset Turkish Sales
Overview
A leading global investment bank is seeking to hire a Vice President within its Cross Asset Sales team to focus on Turkish clients. This is a front-office revenue-generating role covering a broad range of products across Macro, Global Structured Finance (GSF), and Cross Asset solutions.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and expanding relationships with Turkish financial institutions and asset managers, whilst also driving origination and business development efforts with large Turkish corporates, conglomerates, and holding companies. The role offers significant client exposure and the opportunity to work closely with trading, structuring, investment banking, and financing teams across multiple asset classes.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and manage relationships with Turkish institutional clients, including:
- Banks
- Asset managers
- Insurance companies
- Pension funds
- Other financial institutions
Originate and execute cross-asset opportunities across:
- Rates
- Foreign Exchange
- Credit
- Repo and financing solutions
- Structured products
- Global Structured Finance solutions
Identify and develop new business opportunities with major Turkish corporates, conglomerates, and family-owned holding companies.
Work closely with structuring, trading, research, and financing teams to deliver tailored solutions to clients.
Drive client engagement around market themes, balance sheet optimization, funding solutions, risk management strategies, investment opportunities, and structured transactions.
Develop a strong understanding of clients' funding, investment, liquidity, and risk management requirements.
Contribute to strategic growth initiatives for the Turkish franchise and help expand market share across targeted client segments.
Maintain detailed knowledge of regulatory developments, market trends, and macroeconomic themes relevant to Turkish clients.
Required Experience
4-9 years of experience within a financial markets sales role.
Proven experience covering Turkish institutional clients.
Demonstrable track record in one or more of:
- Macro Sales
- Fixed Income Sales
- FX Sales
- Cross Asset Sales
- Structured Products Sales
- Global Markets Sales
Experience selling solutions across multiple asset classes rather than a single-product focus.
Existing relationships with Turkish banks and asset managers.
Strong business development skills with the ability to originate relationships and identify new revenue opportunities.
Experience working alongside structuring, trading, financing, or investment banking teams on complex solutions.
