About the Role
We are partnering with a technology-driven trading firm seeking a highly skilled C++ Software Engineer to join a team responsible for building and optimizing ultra-low latency trading systems.
You'll work alongside traders, quantitative researchers, and engineers to develop high-performance infrastructure that directly impacts trading performance. This is an opportunity to solve complex engineering challenges in an environment where speed, efficiency, and innovation are critical.
What You'll Be Doing
- Design and develop low-latency trading applications in modern C++
- Optimize system performance across the full technology stack
- Build high-throughput, real-time distributed systems
- Work closely with traders and researchers to implement new strategies and tooling
- Identify and eliminate latency bottlenecks
- Contribute to architecture decisions and engineering best practices
- Continuously improve reliability, scalability, and operational performance
What We're Looking For
- Strong commercial experience developing software in modern C++ (C++17/20 preferred)
- Solid understanding of multithreading, concurrency, memory management, and systems programming
- Experience working on performance-critical applications
- Strong knowledge of Linux environments
- Understanding of network protocols and low-level system optimization
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
- Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related discipline
Nice to Have
- Experience in electronic trading, market making, exchanges, crypto, or high-frequency trading environments
- Knowledge of TCP/IP, kernel bypass, FPGA integration, or networking optimization
- Experience profiling and optimizing latency-sensitive systems
- Familiarity with Python for tooling and automation
