Overview
A publicly traded, global industrials and manufacturing organization is seeking a Corporate Development Manager to support its growth strategy through mergers & acquisitions, strategic partnerships, and corporate investments. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with senior leadership in a highly visible capacity, contributing to transformative initiatives across a diversified portfolio of businesses.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead financial analysis, valuation modeling (DCF, comparable companies, precedent transactions), and transaction structuring
- Support end-to-end M&A execution, including target identification, due diligence, deal negotiation, and integration planning
- Develop strategic presentations and materials for executive leadership and the Board of Directors
- Conduct market research and industry analysis to identify growth opportunities and competitive trends
- Partner cross-functionally with business units, finance, legal, and external advisors
- Build and maintain relationships with investment banks, private equity firms, and other external stakeholders
- Assist in post-merger integration efforts to ensure value capture and synergy realization
Qualifications
- 4-7+ years of experience in investment banking, private equity, corporate development, or transaction advisory
- Strong financial modeling and valuation skillset
- Experience executing M&A transactions in industrials, manufacturing, or related sectors preferred
- Ability to synthesize complex information into clear, actionable insights
- Excellent communication skills with executive presence
- Self-starter with the ability to work effectively in a remote environment
