We are currently partnered with a leading Houston-based company looking to add a Corporate Development Associate to its growing team. This individual will work closely with senior leadership to evaluate and execute acquisitions, assess strategic growth opportunities, and help shape the company's long-term growth strategy.

Corporate Development Associate Responsibilities
- Support the evaluation and execution of buy-side M&A transactions from initial assessment and diligence through signing and closing.
- Build and maintain detailed financial models, valuation analyses, and transaction scenarios to evaluate potential acquisitions.
- Prepare investment memos, presentations, and strategic analyses for senior leadership and executive decision-makers.
- Conduct in-depth industry, market, competitive, and company-specific research to support investment decisions.
- Identify, evaluate, and track potential acquisition targets and strategic growth opportunities.
- Coordinate with internal teams and external advisors throughout the due diligence and transaction process.
- Partner with finance, operations, legal, and business unit leadership to assess potential transactions and support integration initiatives.
- Monitor industry trends and competitive dynamics to help inform the company's broader strategic planning efforts.
Qualifications
- 1-2 years of Investment Banking experience required, preferably with exposure to M&A transactions.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related field.
- Strong financial modeling, valuation, and analytical capabilities.
- Experience supporting live transactions and navigating due diligence processes.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, transaction-oriented environment.
