Convertible Arbitrage / Fundamental Credit Analyst
We are working with a leading quantitative investment manager looking to add an experienced Fundamental Credit Analyst to its Convertible Arbitrage strategy.
The role will focus on fundamental credit research and security analysis, working alongside the broader investment team to identify and evaluate opportunities across the convertible universe.
Responsibilities will include:
- Conduct deep fundamental credit research on corporate issuers
- Analyze company financials, business models, industries, and capital structures
- Evaluate the underlying credit risk of convertible securities
- Develop independent investment views and communicate recommendations to the investment team
- Monitor existing positions and relevant company and industry developments
- Work closely with the broader Convertible Arbitrage team on idea generation and security selection
Ideal candidates will have:
- 4-10 years of relevant experience in fundamental credit research, investing, or trading
- Experience analyzing corporate credit and complex capital structures
- Excellent financial modeling, accounting, and analytical skills
- Experience evaluating leveraged or complex capital structures
- Ability to develop differentiated views on individual companies and credits
- Strong intellectual curiosity and interest in applying fundamental analysis within a quantitative and relative-value investment environment
