A top-performing multi-manager hedge fund is seeking a Consumer Staples Analyst to join a highly experienced Portfolio Manager with a proven track record in long/short equity investing. About the Role:
The analyst will take ownership of coverage across the Consumer Staples sector, including areas such as food & beverage, household and personal care products, tobacco, packaged goods, and retail staples. The role involves deep fundamental research, financial modeling, and idea generation across both long and short positions.
What We're Looking For:
- 2-5 years of buyside experience in long/short equity
- Direct coverage or strong familiarity with Consumer Staples or adjacent sectors
- Strong accounting and modeling skills
- Ability to generate differentiated insights and contribute meaningfully to portfolio construction
