Client Service Associate - Financial Services
Our client is an established financial services platform with a growing presence in Singapore. As the business continues to strengthen its regional client coverage, they are hiring a Client Service Associate / Senior Associate to support institutional clients across Southeast Asia.
This is a client-facing role within a post-trade and securities services environment, covering client query management, service reviews, client training, and relationship support. The role would suit someone with experience in banking, custody, settlement, clearing, securities services, or trade lifecycle support who is looking to take on broader client exposure while remaining close to technical and operational matters.
Responsibilities for the Client Service Associate / Senior Associate:
- Manage institutional client queries and provide timely, practical solutions across post-trade, custody, settlement, and securities services matters
- Act as a key point of contact for clients, helping to resolve service issues and ensure a high standard of client experience
- Deliver training to clients on online portals, trade lifecycle processes, and relevant service workflows
- Support the organisation of client training sessions, workshops, and other client engagement activities
- Conduct regular service reviews with key clients and follow through on issues, feedback, and action items
- Attend client meetings independently and alongside Relationship Managers across the region
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients
- Identify client needs across settlement, custody, and related securities services, and work with Relationship Managers to deliver appropriate solutions
- Partner closely with Relationship Managers on client relationship deepening, sales pitches, and potential business opportunities
- Stay updated on product, technical, market, and operational developments relevant to the client base
- Support team-related matters including documentation, agreements, KYC, and other internal coordination requirements
Requirements for the Client Service Associate / Senior Associate:
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in business, finance, economics or a related discipline
- At least 5 years of relevant banking or financial services experience
- Prior experience in client service, client support, relationship support, securities services, custody, clearing, settlement, post-trade operations, or trade lifecycle support would be highly relevant
- Strong understanding of institutional client servicing within a banking, securities services, market infrastructure, or financial services environment
- Comfortable handling client queries, service issues, operational escalations, and time-sensitive requests
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills, with the ability to engage confidently with both internal and external stakeholders
- High level of client orientation, professionalism, initiative, and ownership
- Organised, meticulous, and able to manage competing priorities under tight timelines
- Comfortable working independently while partnering closely with Relationship Managers, operations, product, and technical teams
- Strong command of spoken and written English
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
