Business Risk Associate
We're currently partnered with a leading global financial services institution seeking a Business Risk Associate to join their team. The firm specializes in asset management, real estate, and securities lending, offering individuals broad exposure to a wide range of functions and business lines.
The Associate will support the Operational Risk Management strategy through second-line oversight activities. Ideal candidates will have prior experience in operational risk and a strong understanding of conducting RCSAs, as well as a proven ability to collaborate effectively with senior stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and execute Comprehensive Risk Vendor Risk, and Model, and Operational Risk Assessments.
- Analyze risk data to identify trends and issues
- Assess the operational effectiveness of controls through deep dives and lessons learned
- Conduct scenario analyses
- Build out the operational risk culture through the creation and delivery of trainings and workshops
- Prepare operational risk reports and maintain files for ORM function
- Analyze losses, metrics, or assessment finding to identify areas of risk and develop mitigate strategies
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in Operational Risk within financial services
- Ability to analyze risk assessments
- Strong interpersonal skills and experience collaborating with stakeholders
- Knowledge of risk management principles and frameworks
