Business Development Analyst
An entrepreneurial private equity firm is seeking a Business Development Analyst to help drive acquisition sourcing efforts for a high-growth portfolio company.
This is a relationship-focused role centered on identifying and engaging business owners, generating new acquisition opportunities, and supporting a highly active M&A strategy. The ideal candidate enjoys outbound business development, building relationships, and operating in a performance-driven environment.
What You'll Do
- Identify and research prospective acquisition targets
- Conduct outbound outreach via phone, email, and LinkedIn
- Build relationships with business owners and industry professionals
- Qualify opportunities and gather key business information
- Maintain CRM records and manage an active pipeline
- Partner closely with leadership and M&A professionals on growth initiatives
What We're Looking For
- 0-5 years of experience in sales, business development, sourcing, or a related field
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Comfortable making outbound calls and managing high activity levels
- Experience using CRM and prospecting tools
- Highly motivated, competitive, and entrepreneurial mindset
- Bachelor's degree preferred
