Bodily Injury Adjuster

We're seeking a detail‑oriented Bodily Injury Claims Adjuster to join our team and manage the full investigation, evaluation, and negotiation of non‑litigated bodily injury claims. This role requires strong analytical skills, sound judgment, and the ability to deliver thorough, timely claim resolutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Launch appropriate investigations upon receipt of new losses.
• Gather written or verbal statements from all involved parties.
• Accurately document all claim activities and maintain organized file notes.
• Index all injured claimants and maintain proper diary controls on each file.
• Evaluate liability and apply comparative negligence principles based on collected information.
• Obtain and review medical records to determine injury value and assess claim exposure.
• Maintain accurate reserves in accordance with company authority levels and guidelines.
• Prepare large loss reports in compliance with internal policies.
• Negotiate fair settlements with claimants and/or attorneys.
• Communicate with other carriers to obtain relevant injury and coverage information.
• Adhere to all policies, procedures, and supervisory instructions.

Qualifications

• Experience handling non‑litigated bodily injury claims.
• Strong understanding of liability, comparative negligence, and claim investigation techniques.
• Excellent negotiation skills and the ability to communicate effectively with various parties.
• Strong analytical thinking with attention to detail and documentation accuracy.
• Ability to manage multiple files and prioritize effectively.
• Computer literacy and comfort working within claims management systems.
• Demonstrated ability to follow established processes, guidelines, and leadership direction.
