Overview

We are working with a leading infrastructure investor seeking to hire an Associate to join its London-based investment team. The firm manages a diversified portfolio across core and value-add infrastructure assets, including energy transition, digital infrastructure, utilities, and transportation.

This is an excellent opportunity for a high-performing candidate to take on a hands-on role across the full investment lifecycle, working within a lean team and gaining meaningful exposure to transactions, portfolio management, and strategic decision-making.


Key Responsibilities

  • Transaction Execution:
    Support the execution of investments across the full deal lifecycle, including origination, evaluation, due diligence, structuring, and completion

  • Financial Analysis & Modelling:
    Build and maintain complex financial models (DCF, LBO, project finance) to assess investment opportunities and returns

  • Due Diligence:
    Coordinate and review commercial, financial, and technical due diligence, working closely with advisors

  • Investment Materials:
    Prepare investment papers, presentations, and supporting materials for internal committees and senior stakeholders

  • Portfolio Management:
    Monitor and support existing portfolio investments, including performance tracking, valuation updates, and strategic initiatives

  • Market Research:
    Conduct sector and thematic research across key infrastructure verticals (e.g. renewables, digital, transport, energy transition)


Candidate Requirements

  • Experience:
    2-5 years of relevant experience in infrastructure investing, private equity, project finance, or investment banking (power, utilities, or infrastructure coverage preferred)

  • Skill Set:

    • Advanced financial modelling and valuation skills
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
    • Experience working on live transactions
    • Excellent attention to detail
  • Education:
    Strong academic background from a leading university (finance, economics, engineering, or related discipline preferred)

  • Personal Attributes:

    • Highly motivated and intellectually curious
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
    • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deal-driven environment
