Assistant Relationship Manager - Corporate Banking (Hong Kong)
Key Responsibilities
- Provide operational and administrative assistance to the Corporate Banking team, ensuring seamless workflows and precise transaction handling.
- Handle KYCs and compliance-related tasks, including periodic reviews, follow-ups on trigger events, and account opening/closure processes. This involves Customer Due Diligence (CDD), clearing alerts, and addressing sanction-related issues promptly.
- Ensure adherence to internal policies and regulatory requirements across all client documentation and processes.
- Act as a liaison between the Corporate Banking team and other departments, such as Operations, to facilitate effective communication and resolve operational matters efficiently.
- Maintain strict accuracy, confidentiality, and professionalism when managing sensitive client information and internal data.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or a related discipline.
- At least 4 years of experience supporting Relationship Managers within the banking sector, preferably in Corporate Banking.
- Strong understanding of KYC and compliance processes is highly advantageous.
- Proactive team player with excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail for handling complex situations effectively.
- Proficiency in English and Chinese (Cantonese and Mandarin); Japanese language skills are a plus.
- Skilled in Microsoft Office applications.
