Overview
A leading professional services and financial advisory firm is seeking a Senior Associate / Associate to join its Architecture & Engineering (A&E) advisory practice. This role supports project execution and analytical work across a range of engagements within the A&E sector and offers meaningful exposure to ESOP advisory, business valuation, and corporate finance.
The position is well-suited for candidates who enjoy hands-on financial analysis, modeling, and client deliverables, and who are looking to deepen their expertise within a specialized industry vertical.
Key Responsibilities
- Support senior team members in executing complex advisory and valuation engagements for A&E firms
- Perform historical and pro forma financial analysis, including detailed cash flow modeling
- Build, maintain, and analyze complex financial models (e.g., DCF, LBO, accretion/dilution, pro forma and sensitivity analyses)
- Conduct public company and transaction comparable analyses
- Perform industry, market, and company-specific research
- Assist with due diligence by reviewing and synthesizing client financial and operational information
- Prepare client-facing presentations and written reports outlining financial performance, valuation conclusions, and strategic considerations
- Participate in internal and external meetings with clients and advisors, as appropriate
- Manage multiple workstreams across active engagements while meeting deadlines and quality standards
- Support business development initiatives, including pitch materials, proposals, and prospect research
Qualifications
- 2-5 years of experience in professional services, investment banking, valuation, or financial advisory
- Bachelor's degree in finance, business, or a related field
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Advanced proficiency in Excel; working knowledge of Word and PowerPoint
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality work
- Ability to manage multiple priorities with limited supervision
- Experience handling sensitive and confidential information
- Self-motivated, analytical, and solutions-oriented mindset
- Collaborative, team-oriented attitude and strong work ethic
