VP Software Developer - APAC Flow Volatility Risk Pricing
- Design, develop, and deliver high-quality software solutions for a real-time derivatives pricing and risk platform
- Build scalable, low-latency systems optimized for performance and reliability
- Collaborate with traders, quants, and cross-functional teams to define and implement technical solutions
- Contribute to system architecture, design decisions, and continuous platform improvements
- Ensure adherence to secure coding practices and perform code reviews
- Implement robust unit testing and maintain high standards of code quality
- Provide second-level support for production systems and troubleshoot complex issues
- Promote knowledge sharing and contribute to a culture of engineering excellence
- Strong hands-on experience with Core Java, including multithreading and concurrency
- Proven experience building low-latency or high-performance distributed systems
- Solid understanding of Linux environments and distributed architectures
- Experience within financial markets, ideally equity derivatives, trading, pricing, or risk systems
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication skills and ability to engage with business stakeholders
- Experience with messaging systems such as Solace, ZeroMQ, or similar
- Knowledge of garbage collection optimization or zero GC techniques
- Background in real-time trading or risk platforms
