VP Equity Algo Quantitative Developer
- Algorithm Design & Development: Architect and implement advanced liquidity-seeking and volume-based trading strategies for U.S. equities.
- Quantitative Modeling: Develop and validate models for order placement, execution logic, and market impact.
- Data Analysis: Perform rigorous analysis of market and execution data to inform strategy design and performance tuning.
- Implementation: Write high-performance, GC-free Java code optimized for low-latency environments.
- Testing & Simulation: Build and maintain automated testing frameworks and simulation environments to validate algorithm behavior under various market conditions.
- Tuning & Calibration: Continuously monitor and refine algorithm parameters to adapt to changing market dynamics.
- Collaboration: Work closely with traders, quants, and infrastructure teams to ensure seamless integration and deployment of strategies.
- Production Support: Provide L3 support for deployed algorithms and participate in post-trade analysis and incident reviews.
- Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or a related quantitative field.
- 5+ years of experience in algorithmic trading or electronic trading systems, preferably in U.S. equities.
- Proficiency in Python and Core Java, with a strong focus on low-latency, GC-free development.
- Deep understanding of market microstructure, order types, and execution venues.
- Strong background in data structures, algorithms, and concurrent programming.
- Experience with statistical modeling, machine learning, or signal processing is a plus.
- Familiarity with FIX protocol, market data feeds, and order management systems.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
