Position Overview

We are seeking a Technical Project Manager (TPM) with a strong background working a technical focused program and 5+ years of experience managing complex technical projects. The ideal candidate will be a bridge between engineering teams and business stakeholders, ensuring timely delivery of high-impact data products and platform enhancements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead cross-functional project teams through the full software development lifecycle (SDLC), from planning to deployment.
  • Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and data scientists to define project scope, timelines, and deliverables.
  • Translate business requirements into technical specifications and actionable plans.
  • Manage project risks, dependencies, and resource allocations to ensure on-time delivery.
  • Facilitate agile ceremonies (stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives) and promote agile best practices.
  • Communicate project status, milestones, and blockers to stakeholders at all levels.
  • Drive continuous improvement in project delivery processes and team collaboration.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
  • 5+ years of experience in technical project management, preferably in the financial services or market data industry.
  • Proven ability to work closely with software engineers, data teams, and business stakeholders.
  • Strong understanding of market data systems, APIs, and data delivery mechanisms is a plus.
  • Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and tools like Jira, Confluence, or similar.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
  • PMP, CSM, or equivalent certification is a plus.
