Senior Financial Analyst
Selby Jennings is partnered with a leading provider of compliance solutions for both the financial services and insurance industries. The firm servies nearly 2,000 institutions worldwide including more than half of the global top 20 asset management firms. The Senior Financial Analyst will be reporting directly into the CFO, play a critical role in M&A, and work on special projects assigned by the CFO, CEO, and the Board of Directors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with executive leadership to align financial strategies with business goals.
- Lead the company's annual financial planning cycle, working alongside senior finance executives.
- Develop and refine internal financial reporting for key stakeholders, including executives and the board.
- Manage special financial initiatives, supporting leadership on ad-hoc projects.
- Play a critical role in merger and acquisition activities, from due diligence through integration.
- Partner with revenue operations teams to enhance reporting and financial performance tracking.
- Spearhead improvements to financial systems, identifying opportunities for automation and optimization.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Experience: At least 5 years in financial planning and analysis or a similar function, with cross-team collaboration experience. Prior exposure to investment banking or private equity is a plus.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in a finance-related field; advanced credentials (CFA, MBA, etc.) are preferred.
- Technical Proficiency: Strong skills in financial modeling, with expertise in spreadsheet tools and reporting platforms.
- Analytical Strength: A keen ability to assess complex financial data, develop insights, and present strategic recommendations.
