In this role, you will support and enhance key actuarial functions across the organization, including pricing, reserving, forecasting, and financial modeling. The ideal candidate brings strong technical acumen, a strong understanding of health insurance products, and a passion for solving complex business problems using data.
What We're Looking For:
- 2-5 years of actuarial experience within a health insurer or health‑focused actuarial environment
- Hands‑on experience with Commercial Large Group, ACA, or both
- Solid understanding of pricing, reserving, or related actuarial functions
- Strong technical skills in SQL or Python, with the ability to manipulate data, build tools, and support model development
- Pre‑ASA or ASA designation (or actively progressing toward ASA)
- Strong analytical mindset, communication skills, and a collaborative approach
What You'll Do:
- Support development and maintenance of actuarial models and financial tools
- Contribute to rate development, forecasting, reserve analysis, and trend studies
- Work closely with cross‑functional teams to translate actuarial insights into strategic recommendations
- Assist in automation, model refinement, and ongoing process improvement initiatives
