Role: Investment Banking Associate
Compensation: $175k Base + Bonus
We are partnered with a leading Middle-Market Investment Bank seeking to add an Associate to their team in Richmond, VA. This role provides the opportunity to work on high‑quality transactions while being part of a close-knit, collaborative culture that emphasizes professional growth and upward mobility. As an Associate, you will gain consistent exposure to senior bankers, contribute to active deal flow, and continue to strengthen your transaction execution experience across a variety of engagements.
Responsibilities:
* Build, maintain, and refine complex financial models to analyze performance under various operating scenarios.
* Conduct detailed financial, operational, and industry due diligence for new business development opportunities, acquisitions, and investment evaluations.
* Work directly with senior investment bankers to support efficient and effective execution of live transactions.
* Assist in day‑to‑day deal execution, managing workstreams, preparing materials, and coordinating internal and external parties.
* Analyze market trends, conduct industry research, and contribute insights to support deal strategy and pitch development.
Ideal Experience:
* 3+ years of Investment Banking or related transaction experience.
* Strong financial modeling and analytical skills.
* Based in Richmond, VA or open to relocation.
