Head of STM USA
Key Responsibilities:
- Portfolio Management: Oversee and manage the Specialised Transaction Management (STM) portfolio for Corporate Finance America, ensuring smooth execution of complex finance transactions, with a particular emphasis on renewable energy projects.
- Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a high-performing team, developing their technical skills in financial modelling, due diligence, and specialised finance loan products like Project & Export Finance and Leveraged Finance, particularly focused on renewables and sustainable projects.
- Strategic Execution: Support the delivery of Corporate Finance International's strategy, including opportunities for origination, execution, and growth in the renewable energy sector.
- Client Relationships: Build strong, strategic relationships with key clients and external stakeholders, with a focus on renewable energy companies and projects, enhancing customer experience and driving growth.
- Transaction Monitoring: Manage transactions proactively from financial close through to termination, ensuring smooth processes and outcomes, with a focus on renewable projects.
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams (operations, enablement) to ensure the successful execution of transactions and business plans, specifically within the renewable energy space.
What We're Looking For:
- 10-15 Years of Project Finance Experience: Strong expertise in project finance, particularly in renewable energy projects such as wind, solar, and other sustainable infrastructure.
- Advanced Financial & Transaction Management Skills: Extensive experience in financial analysis, transaction management, and understanding of structured finance, with a focus on the renewables sector.
- Leadership Experience: Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop a team of professionals.
- Strong Communication Skills: Ability to communicate effectively and present with impact to senior stakeholders.
- Industry Expertise in Renewables: In-depth knowledge of Corporate Finance products, including Project & Export Finance, Leveraged Finance, and familiarity with institutional products (e.g., Markets, Trade/Cash), with a special focus on renewable energy.
- Strategic Insight: A strong understanding of the strategic, financial, and operational aspects of business, particularly within the renewable energy and sustainable finance sectors.
- Proactive & Adaptable: A self-motivated leader who thrives in a dynamic environment and is eager to continuously learn and grow.
