FX Trade Lifecycle Technical Lead
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end development of front office systems for risk and trade lifecycle management.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, design solutions, and deliver robust applications.
- Drive technical excellence across multiple projects, ensuring alignment with business goals and architectural standards.
- Mentor and coach junior engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and innovation.
- Champion DevOps and agile best practices to streamline development and deployment processes.
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience as a lead engineer on multiple complex projects.
- Demonstrated success in delivering front office systems for risk or trade lifecycle management in a derivatives trading environment.
- Proficiency in multiple programming languages and the ability to work across diverse technology stacks.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive, ownership-driven mindset.
Preferred Experience
- In-depth knowledge of the FX options market and associated operational workflows.
- Understanding of risk management concepts, including risk measures, matrices, and topographies.
- Familiarity with vendor risk management systems, especially Murex.
- Hands-on experience with DevOps tools and agile methodologies.
- Experience working in global teams across different time zones and cultures.
- Strong coaching and mentoring abilities to support team growth and development.
