Position Overview
The Fund Accounting Manager will oversee the accounting, reporting, and operational activities for the firm's private equity funds and related entities. This individual will work closely with fund administrators, auditors, tax providers, and internal teams to ensure accurate financial reporting, capital activity processing, and investor reporting.
Responsibilities
- Oversee accounting and reporting for private equity funds and related entities.
- Review NAV packages, capital calls, distributions, and investor allocations prepared by fund administrators.
- Coordinate audit, tax, compliance, and investor reporting processes.
- Maintain fund performance, management fee, and carried interest schedules.
- Support portfolio valuation reviews and transaction activity.
- Partner with investment, investor relations, and compliance teams on ongoing fund operations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA preferred.
- 5+ years of accounting experience within private equity, fund administration, public accounting, or alternative investments.
- Strong understanding of partnership accounting, fund reporting, and private equity fund structures.
- Experience working with fund administrators, auditors, and tax advisors.
- Advanced Excel skills and strong communication, analytical, and organizational abilities.
