Position Overview: Fund Accounting Manager
We're seeking a dynamic professional to lead fund accounting operations, ensuring high-quality service delivery across a diverse client portfolio. This role involves managing a team, overseeing financial reporting processes, and maintaining strong client relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary contact for assigned clients, collaborating closely with senior leadership to maintain service standards.
- Guide a team of up to 10 professionals, fostering development and ensuring operational efficiency.
- Oversee daily and monthly fund valuations, including NAV calculations and reconciliation reviews.
- Ensure timely resolution of outstanding reconciliation items and client inquiries.
- Supervise the preparation and review of performance metrics, fee structures, and financial statements.
- Coordinate audit processes and support client onboarding and transitions.
- Contribute to internal training initiatives and participate in recruitment and performance evaluations.
- Lead special projects and provide strategic input on new product accounting implications.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with internal departments to ensure seamless service delivery.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in hedge fund administration, with at least 3 years in a supervisory role.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field (minimum 2.2 honors).
- Professional accounting qualification (ACCA, CPA, CIMA, ACA) is a plus but not mandatory.
- Strong communication, analytical, and leadership skills.
- Comfortable working independently and within a team.
- Proficient in financial systems and adaptable to evolving processes.
