Fertilizer Trader (Based in Dubai or Singapore)
Purpose:
My client is an established international trading company. We are looking for an experienced Fertilizer trader who is responsible for managing the end-to-end fertilizer trading business, including supplier and buyer development, deal negotiation and execution, risk assessment, and P&L ownership. The role also involves strategic planning, market analysis, and cross-functional coordination to drive sustainable business growth.This is a newly created position.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and pursue growth opportunities in the fertilizer market.
- Develop and implement trading strategies and business plans.
- Manage the full trading cycle from sourcing to deal closure.
- Build and maintain supplier and customer relationships.
- Oversee risk management and ensure regulatory compliance.
- Coordinate with logistics and internal teams for smooth operations.
- Lead the business line as a profit center and ensure resource adequacy.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Management or equivalent.
- 3-5 years of fertilizers trading experience.
- Coverage of Middle East markets
- Strong knowledge of contracts, tenders, and shipping documentation.
- Proven track record in fertilizer trading and industry networking.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and leadership skills.
