Equity Auctions Quantitative Researcher

Role Overview:

A Tier-One Fund is looking for an experienced Equity Auctions Quantitative Researcher to contribute to the design, development, and execution of systematic equity strategies. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of alpha generation and risk-adjusted returns, with extensive knowledge in equity auctions (open/close) markets and strong programming skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Research, develop, and implement systematic trading strategies across various equity auctions markets
  • Conduct alpha signal research using statistical and machine learning,
  • Manage portfolio construction, execution, and risk management processes
  • Collaborate with quantitative researchers, data engineers, and technologists to bring strategies into production
  • Monitor and refine strategies based on performance and market conditions

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience in quantitative research within equity auctions (open or close)
  • Deep understanding of auction markets and trading instruments
  • Advanced programming skills in Python and/or C++
  • Experience with back-testing frameworks and large-scale data analysis
  • Degree (Master's or PhD preferred) in a quantitative field such as Mathematics, Physics, Computer Science, or Engineering
