Delta One Index Arb Trader

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and analytically driven Delta One Index Trader with strong quantitative skills to join our clients trading team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying and executing arbitrage opportunities across global equity indices, ETFs, and futures, while leveraging quantitative models to enhance trading strategies and risk management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute and manage index arbitrage and delta one trading strategies across global markets.
  • Monitor and analyze pricing discrepancies between index constituents, ETFs, futures, and baskets.
  • Develop and refine quantitative models for signal generation, execution optimisation, and risk control.
  • Collaborate with quant researchers and developers to implement systematic trading strategies.
  • Maintain and improve real-time trading infrastructure and tools.
  • Manage intraday and overnight risk exposures in accordance with firm risk parameters.
  • Stay abreast of market structure changes, regulatory developments, and macroeconomic events impacting index products.


Qualifications Required:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in a quantitative field (e.g., Mathematics, Physics, Computer Science, Engineering, Finance).
  • 2+ years of experience in index arbitrage, delta one, or related trading roles.
  • Strong programming skills in Python, C++, or similar languages.
  • Deep understanding of equity markets, index construction, and ETF mechanics.
  • Experience with market data feeds, execution algorithms, and trading platforms.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure trading environment.

Preferred:

  • Experience with statistical arbitrage or machine learning techniques.
  • Familiarity with low-latency trading systems and infrastructure.
  • Knowledge of global market microstructure and cross-border trading.
