A tier 1 investment bank located at the heart of Europe's financial hub, Frankfurt am Main, is seeking a talented individual for their VP position specializing in Controlling and Regulatory Reporting. This permanent opportunity offers the chance to be part of an elite team shaping global strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage all controlling functions in regulatory reporting.
- Daily calculation of regulatory capital and large exposures for the German bank entity.
- Handle ad hoc regulatory requests.
- Participate in global regulatory projects, including system developments and new regulatory frameworks (e.g., CRR3).
- Coordinate data governance and documentation across multiple prudential reporting processes.
- Improve reporting processes through self-service tools and collaboration with regulatory engineering teams.
- Contribute to the ICAAP Framework and Recovery and Resolution reporting for German entities
Your Profile:
- Degree in business administration or finance.
- 6+ years in a regulatory environment, preferably in the financial industry in Germany
- Strong knowledge of European/German regulatory rules.
- Excellent attention to detail and time management.
- Proficiency with large data sets and automation tools.
- Effective communication skills, both oral and written, across various seniority levels.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and able to provide high-quality feedback.
- Ability to work well in a high-energy, high-profile team.
- Business fluency in English; German skills are a plus
