They are seeking a Compliance Analyst to join their dynamic compliance team in Amsterdam. This is a broad and hands-on role, ideal for someone with a solid foundation in financial regulations and a proactive mindset. You will play a key part in ensuring the firm's trading activities remain compliant with global regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor trading activity across multiple asset classes to identify potential compliance issues or irregularities.
- Prepare and submit regulatory reports to relevant authorities in a timely and accurate manner.
- Conduct internal reviews and assist in investigations related to trading behavior and policy breaches.
- Stay abreast of regulatory developments in global financial markets and assess their impact on the firm's operations.
- Collaborate with trading, legal, and technology teams to implement and enhance compliance controls and systems.
- Assist in the development and delivery of compliance training and awareness initiatives.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- 2-4 years of experience in a compliance role ideally within investment banking or trading.
- Strong understanding of financial regulations (e.g., MiFID II, MAR, EMIR).
- Experience with trade surveillance systems and regulatory reporting tools is a plus.
- Analytical mindset with excellent attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment.
- Self-starter with a proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement.
