The Role
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join our executive team. This is a critical leadership role responsible for shaping the financial strategy of the company, optimizing performance, and partnering with the CEO and private equity sponsors to drive long-term value creation.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Financial Leadership: Develop and execute financial strategies aligned with business goals and growth plans
- Operational Oversight: Lead budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and financial reporting
- Private Equity Partnership: Serve as the primary liaison with PE sponsors, lenders, and the Board
- M&A Execution: Support acquisition strategy, due diligence, and post-deal integration
- Team Development: Build and mentor a high-performing finance and accounting team
- Risk & Compliance: Ensure strong internal controls, regulatory compliance, and risk management
- Performance Optimization: Identify and implement initiatives to improve margins, efficiency, and scalability
Qualifications
- 10+ years of progressive financial leadership experience, including CFO, FP&A or VP Finance roles
- Experience in a private equity-backed company is required
- Industry experience in construction, engineering, or industrial services is strongly preferred
- Proven success in scaling businesses and leading M&A transactions
- CPA and/or MBA preferred
- Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
- Hands-on, strategic, and adaptable in a fast-paced environment
