Barclays - Director: FX Structuring - London
Responsibilities
- Structure and deliver bespoke FX solutions for corporate and institutional clients.
- Partner with FX Sales teams to identify opportunities and provide technical expertise throughout the sales process.
- Develop hedging and investment strategies using FX options, forwards, swaps and structured products.
- Analyse client exposures and recommend appropriate risk management solutions.
- Present market views, product ideas and trade recommendations to clients.
- Work closely with Trading, Risk, Legal and Compliance teams to facilitate transaction execution.
- Assist in the development of new products and strategic initiatives across the FX business.
- Monitor market developments and communicate relevant themes to clients and internal stakeholders.
- Contribute to revenue generation through solution-led client engagement.
Requirements
- Experience within FX Structuring gained at an investment bank or financial institution.
- Strong understanding of FX derivatives including options, forwards, swaps and structured solutions.
- Experience covering corporate and/or institutional clients.
- Strong quantitative, analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to explain complex derivative concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Excellent communication and relationship management skills.
- Proven ability to work effectively with Sales and Trading teams in a front-office environment.
- Degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Engineering or a related discipline preferred.
