Actuarial Predictive Modeler
Responsibilities
Design, build, and maintain predictive models that support actuarial analysis and insurance business strategies.
Work directly with Actuarial leaders and collaborate with partners in Product, Underwriting, Claims, and Sales to ensure analytical solutions align with business needs.
Team up with Technology and Data & Analytics stakeholders to identify data sources, improve data access, and ensure analytical readiness.
Continuously evolve your modeling approaches by staying current on advances in analytics tools, techniques, and technologies.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree required; preferred fields include Actuarial Science, Computer Science, or a related quantitative discipline (or equivalent professional experience).
Master's degree strongly preferred.
At least four years of experience developing predictive models, ideally within insurance or financial services.
Actuarial background or progress toward actuarial exams is a plus, but not mandatory.
Hands‑on experience with SQL, Python, R, or comparable analytical languages.
Compensation
The anticipated starting salary range for this role is:
$120,500 - $160,800
