A leading global multi strategy hedge fund is expanding their Delta One trading capabilities. With a decades long footprint across global markets and a culture built on rigorous research and collaboration, the firm is now adding a Trading Assistant to support their high performing D1 team. You will be working with EX Goldman Sachs Partner and will be a great opportunity to get exposure and grow alongside other tier 1 individuals with different trading styles.
This role offers exceptional exposure to index, synthetic, and delta one strategies, working directly with front office traders across multiple international markets. It's an outstanding opportunity for someone looking to move closer to trading, and gain hands on experience with global execution, and help strengthen a short term D1 trading platform.
Location:
Dubai (covering EU/US trading and potentially some late HK/Asia activities), The role can be initially remote or in the London office.
Role Overview
- Support day to day risk management and execution for global Delta 1 trading activities
- Assist in enhancing trading and analytical infrastructure, with a focus on short term D1 strategies (EFP / Roll)
- Work directly with traders across multiple pods, gaining exposure to a variety of systematic and discretionary styles
- Participate in expiry management, corporate actions, index tracking, and trade life cycle processes
Ideal Background
- Strong attention to detail and process driven mindset
- Solid understanding of the trade life cycle (expiry management, corporate actions, index decomposition)
- Advanced Excel/VBA and reporting capabilities
- Familiarity with linear equity derivative products
- Understanding of exchange rules and contract expiry mechanics (futures, physical vs. cash, holiday calendars)
- Experience with order/position management platforms
- Exposure to execution
- Tactical coding (Python, API knowledge)

- Delta 1 Equity financing or funding desks
- European synthetic brokerage / PB swaps
- Direct trade support or trading assistant roles looking to get closer to front office trading
