Position: Tax Valuations Associate

Location: London, UK
Experience: 1-4 years in tax valuation, corporate tax, valuation, or related fields


Role Overview

As a member of the London Valuation & Modelling Services team, you'll support tax valuations across the UK and Europe by:

  • Acting as a key liaison between valuation and tax teams on client engagements
  • Working alongside small project teams to execute data analysis and apply valuation methodologies
  • Building and refining valuation models and business plans
  • Drafting client deliverables, including reports and presentations
  • Supporting seamless project delivery and managing day-to-day client interactions
  • Gaining exposure to senior team members and benefiting from structured training programs

Key Responsibilities

  • Execute valuation analysis based on financial statements, tax projections, and cash flows
  • Develop and maintain valuation models (e.g., DCF, comparable company/transactions analysis)
  • Perform qualitative and quantitative research to support valuation assumptions
  • Draft and edit high-quality reports and client-ready deliverables
  • Coordinate with senior and cross-functional teams to manage project timelines and ensure consistency
  • Participate in client meetings and presentations, contributing technical insight and recommendations
  • Assist in business development: prepare marketing materials and attend industry events

Qualifications & Experience

  • 1 to 4 years of experience in:
    • Tax valuation at a Big 4, consulting firm, specialist valuation practice, or in-house tax/valuation team
    • Corporate tax, transaction tax, or financial reporting tax roles with valuation exposure
  • Strong financial modelling and valuation methodology expertise (DCF, M&A comparables, etc.)
  • Comfortable with large datasets and financial systems (Excel proficiency essential)
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills - able to translate complex analyses into clear client messaging
  • Highly analytical, detail-oriented, and adept at managing multiple deliverables under tight timelines
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related discipline
  • Professional qualifications (ACA, ACCA, CTA, CFA) a plus
