Site Reliability Engineer: Trade Ops
A Quantitative Trading firm is looking to bring on an SRE to their team. This role involves collaborating with quant researchers and developers to build automation that ensures system reliability, scalability, and observability, with a focus on clean Python code and robust system design.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure the performance and stability of trading systems across global markets.
- Rapidly diagnose and resolve technical issues to prevent trading disruptions.
- Collaborate with traders, developers, and system administrators to enhance trading environments and implement new strategies.
- Create tools to automate workflows, boost operational efficiency, and improve system functionality.
- Oversee distributed systems for high-frequency trading across various exchanges.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Over 5 years of professional experience in Site Reliability Engineering.
- Proficient in Python programming with a track record of developing production-grade applications.
- Demonstrated expertise in building and scaling distributed systems and automation.
- Skilled in CI/CD pipelines, configuration management, and debugging production issues.
- Adept at working in high-pressure environments where uptime and reliability are crucial.
