About the Role

A growing technology company in the digital asset space is seeking an experienced IT Systems Engineer to support and evolve its internal IT infrastructure. Reporting directly to the Head of IT, this role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys working across a broad range of technologies. You'll be responsible for maintaining core IT systems, supporting enterprise tools, and contributing to strategic IT initiatives that ensure operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and manage internal IT systems to support current operations and future scalability.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues across platforms such as Google Workspace, endpoint protection tools, identity providers, and SaaS applications.
  • Administer endpoint management using MDM tools (e.g., Kandji, Intune), ensuring compliance and security.
  • Enforce security policies including phishing protection, DLP, and multi-factor authentication.
  • Manage user lifecycle processes including provisioning and deprovisioning.
  • Create and maintain documentation for IT processes and system configurations.
  • Identify and resolve recurring technical issues, implementing long-term solutions.
  • Lead and participate in IT projects aimed at improving infrastructure and service delivery.
  • Support colleagues by sharing expertise and implementing solutions that reduce operational overhead.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in IT systems administration.
  • Strong knowledge of identity and access management (IAM), MDM solutions, SaaS platforms, and cloud services.
  • Familiarity with ITIL practices and ITSM tools such as Jira or Freshservice.
  • Effective problem-solving skills and a hands-on approach to technical challenges.
  • Experience with scripting or low-code/no-code infrastructure automation is a plus.
  • Self-motivated and capable of working independently.
  • Collaborative mindset with a willingness to support and uplift team members.
