Your Role
As a Senior .NET/C# Engineer, you'll contribute to the development of backend systems within the asset optimization domain. You'll work on tools that support energy trading, planning, and asset-specific optimization, helping to ensure reliable and efficient operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain scalable backend services using .NET/C#
- Integrate systems and manage data flows for real-time trading and planning
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Python and frontend developers
- Contribute to continuous improvement and innovation within the digital product landscape
Tech Stack
- Backend: .NET/C#, Azure, Kubernetes, Kafka
- Frontend: Vue.js
- Other Tools: Python, Terraform, SQL/NoSQL, gRPC, Azure Service Bus, Azure Eventhub
What We're Looking For
- Strong experience in backend development with .NET/C#
- Familiarity with cloud-native development (Azure preferred)
- Experience with CI/CD, containerization, microservices, and event-driven architecture
- Ability to write secure, scalable, and maintainable code
- Fluent in English and based in the Netherlands
- Team-oriented mindset and willingness to collaborate across disciplines
Bonus Skills
- Python experience, especially in optimization or analytics
- Frontend experience with Vue.js or similar frameworks
- Knowledge of observability tools (SLIs/SLOs)
- Understanding of energy trading or planning systems
