Position Title: Restructuring Associate / Vice President

Overview:
A leading financial advisory firm specializing in corporate restructuring and distressed situations is seeking a highly skilled professional to join its team in New York. This opportunity is ideal for candidates with 4+ years of experience in restructuring, distressed investing, or financial advisory, particularly those with a strong understanding of creditor- side dynamics.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support or lead engagements representing creditor groups in Chapter 11 and out-of-court restructuring processes.
- Perform detailed financial analysis, including liquidity assessments, claims reconciliation, and recovery modeling.
- Prepare presentations and strategic materials for committee meetings, negotiations, and court filings.
- Collaborate with legal counsel and other stakeholders to advocate for creditor interests.
- Contribute to internal team development and business growth initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree required; advanced credentials (MBA, JD, CFA) preferred.
- Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience in restructuring, distressed finance, or related fields.
- Strong grasp of bankruptcy procedures, creditor rights, and restructuring strategies.
- Excellent analytical, modeling, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple workstreams in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
