Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated and mission-aligned Associate to join our Real Estate Private Equity team. This role is ideal for an early-career professional with a strong foundation in investment analysis and a passion for deploying capital in alignment with faith-based values. The Associate will support the evaluation, selection, and monitoring of real estate private equity managers and direct investments across a diverse portfolio.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Investment Due Diligence:
    Assist in sourcing, underwriting, and evaluating real estate private equity fund opportunities, co-investments, and direct deals.

  • Portfolio Monitoring:
    Track performance, capital calls, distributions, and reporting for existing real estate investments. Maintain and update internal databases and dashboards.

  • Manager Relations:
    Support ongoing relationships with external fund managers, including attending meetings, reviewing quarterly reports, and preparing internal summaries.

  • Research & Analysis:
    Conduct market research, macroeconomic analysis, and sector-specific studies to inform investment decisions and portfolio strategy.

  • Reporting & Presentation:
    Prepare investment memos, presentations, and reports for the Investment Committee and senior leadership.

  • Faith-Based Alignment:
    Ensure all investment activities align with the organization's mission and values, incorporating ESG and impact considerations where appropriate.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Real Estate, or a related field; advanced degree or CFA designation a plus.
  • 4-6 years of experience in real estate private equity, investment management, or institutional asset allocation.
  • Strong analytical and financial modeling skills.
  • Familiarity with fund structures, waterfall models, and real estate valuation methodologies.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • High integrity and alignment with the organization's faith-based mission.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.

Preferred Experience:

  • Exposure to institutional investment processes and governance.
  • Experience with portfolio management systems and performance analytics tools.
  • Understanding of ESG and impact investing frameworks.
